The Challenge

Public-sector programs often suffer from inconsistent branding and poor UX, which undermines credibility. GBC 2.0 needed an identity and interface that could scale across departments while remaining approachable to everyday citizens and local partners.

Research & Insights

I analyzed similar government programs and conducted quick interviews with civil servants and field agents to understand where digital engagement failed. The findings centered on poor content hierarchy and a lack of inclusivity in tone and visuals.

Insight: Accessibility and consistency build trust. Citizens engage more when a program feels transparent and human-centred.

Interface & User Experience

The UI was designed to communicate transparency and ease. Large buttons, clear hierarchy, and accessible contrast ratios made the platform usable even for low-tech users in rural areas.

Reflection

GBC 2.0 reminded me that clarity and inclusivity aren’t aesthetic choices — they’re public service tools. Designing for social impact means making every decision through the lens of trust, accessibility, and human progress.
